Tiddlywinks Nursery Group, established in 1994 by Imelda and David Mihell, began as a small family venture and has since expanded significantly across Greater Manchester. The group now encompasses seven nurseries and four out-of-school clubs, collectively caring for over 800 children daily.

Their philosophy centres on providing a nurturing 'home away from home' environment, where a child-centred approach tailors care to individual needs and interests. The curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, promoting balanced development through fun and supportive activities.

Tiddlywinks emphasises core values such as commitment to high-quality care, inspirational interactions, and staff passion for early years practice. They also prioritise nutrition with balanced menus and integrate outdoor play as a crucial extension of the indoor learning environment.

The day nursery uses an online childcare app for parent communication, fee management, and applications.
