Inclusion & environment
Staff use sign language and visual aids to communicate with children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Leaders develop close relationships with other professionals to support these children, and staff monitor their progress, celebrate achievements, and create personal learning plans.
Children enjoy daily opportunities to play outside and develop physical skills. However, outdoor resources are limited and activities can become crowded, leading to children wandering rather than engaging in play.
Staff use sign language and visual aids to communicate with children who speak English as an additional language, and they learn to pronounce familiar words in children's home languages.
