How they support every child

SEND provision

All children make good progress, especially children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Children with SEND have their needs met well. Staff are kind, caring and supportive. They work closely with other professionals to help children make good progress in their learning and development. Staff plan activities to aid children's learning even further. For example, they use bubbles in an activity to build on children's listening and attention as well as their non-verbal communication skills.

Outdoor space

Managers used additional funding well to support the needs of individual children, purchasing a sand box for the garden to enhance children's fine motor skills as they identified a gap in learning.

I am proud to recommend Top Tots Nursery as a Child Care for your little ones. Currently, they are taking care of my two boys and they are really happy. Top Tots Nursery take an active role in enhancing my boys education and making sure they got plenty of exercises, in the garden, dock, parks. Not every nursery take the kids for walks. Just say a big thank you because they make easier your working day knowing that your kids are learning, having fun and improving social education too. All the stuff is kind and helpful.

The overall care provided at this nursery is very poor, there is a continuous turnover of staff which is not a stable and great environment for any children. The new nursery manager ( deena) , is far from personable with very little training skills or sympathy for staff. Many of the rooms have many 16-18 yr olds with again with little or no training for junior staff to development creating a stable environment for children. Great at the interview stage but then can slowly bully staff into leaving ? Reduces on paperwork? There are no current Covid testing records by staff, which means that you are placing your child in an unknown environment? i would like to think that the owners of the business would take note of this review, as this is far from a great nursery and they would need to start from the manager downwards to improve the nursery.

I've had my daughter here for over a year. She's always been happy to come and go to the nursery and they've taken good care of her. If I wasn't moving I would be sending my 2nd child when he was of age. Their response to covid was terrific and always kept you updated via email or phone calls where necessary. Fantastic staff every single one of them.
