Tops Day Nurseries - Wareham, established in 2000, provides childcare for children aged 0-4 years. Open 51 weeks a year, from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, the nursery ensures children are safe and happy in the care of friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The committed team behind Tops Day Nurseries in Wareham works to provide an ambitious and progressive curriculum tailored to give all children the knowledge and skills they need to succeed, including when moving on to school. Children settle quickly into their play and enjoy a wide range of interesting and stimulating experiences both indoors and outdoors, often based on their current interests.
The nursery provides support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), carefully utilising additional funding to help close any learning gaps. They work with external agencies and provide access to enriching activities such as forest school.
For their youngest attendees, the under-two’s environment is designed to offer many opportunities for sensory and physical play. Children learn about healthy lifestyles, with nutritious meals, daily walks, and even a toothbrushing programme.
The importance of sustainability is also woven into daily life, with pre-school children learning about the consequences of litter and using recycled water to care for outdoor plants. The effective communication and strong relationships between staff and parents ensure a supportive environment for children's learning and development, both at the nursery and at home.

Fantastic provision, my children always come away full of happiness and stories of their day. I love the variation of learning and that the children can lead that. I love the options for Forest School and Cooking School and the fact they do so many extra curricular elements getting out of the setting. My eldest starts school this year and I'm blown away with the preparation they have put in to getting her school ready. It gives me so much confidence for my youngest too. Communication is excellent and flexibility is also brilliant - they will try and accommodate as best as they can.
