Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff work closely with external professionals to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), and they put in place support plans to improve their learning and development. All children, including those with SEND, make good progress with their development, in relation to their starting points.

Outdoor space

Staff provide exciting outdoor activities, such as sand play, climbing, sliding, mark making and imaginative play. Children display confidence while walking on a balancing beam and they recognise when to adjust the beam and crate for their safety.

My son has been attending Walton House Nursery for over a year now and he has been thriving. It’s such a lovely environment with a real home from home feel. The nursery staff really get to know each child’s needs and really support you with any additional support required. All of the staff are wonderful and you can really see how much they care deeply for the children.

My daughter has been attending Walton House for nearly a year now and she loves it there! The staff are so friendly and caring and go the extra mile to ensure my child's extra needs are met. The nursery is smaller than some others, which means children of all ages mix daily and it has a more family vibe. Every staff member knows each child very well and are always welcoming.

My daughter has been going to Walton house for 3.5 years and will be leaving shortly to go to school. The nursery has been great and she has thrived in such a welcoming and supportive environment - I have never had any issues. The staff are fab and work hard to create a home from home environment for the children. Thank you Walton House for setting my daughter up for school and providing a safe space for her to make friends, learn and grow.

Our daughter has been going to this nursery for the past year and a half, and she absolutely loves it. It is a smaller nursery which we prefer as this means that the children mix between age groups and all the staff develop deep bonds with the children. The staff are friendly and professional and take time to get to know each child and their individual needs. Highly recommended.
