The nursery provides high-quality childcare and early education for children from birth to five years, dividing them into four age-appropriate units: Tiny Wanderers, Little Adventurers, Little Explorers, and Discoverers. Their child-centred approach is rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, fostering holistic development across physical, intellectual, emotional, and social domains.

Wells House Kindergarten embraces an inclusive environment, valuing diversity and ensuring all children feel secure and supported. Their unique ethos is built on 'Security, Knowledge, and Growth,' inspired by research confirming the lasting benefits of high-quality early education.

We are proud to be a Mindfulness Nursery — a commitment we embraced in 2014 under the leadership of our founder, Tina Knight. What it's like

Children of all ages are happy and settled at this welcoming and nurturing nursery. Babies are confident and develop a strong level of independence, exploring new textures and developing hand muscles. Toddlers flourish during outdoor play experiences, learning to negotiate steps, ride wheeled toys, and express their emotions positively, leading to harmonious play.
