I initially came to WDN because of the feedback I received from other people I know. Now that our time here is coming to an end, I will give my honest opinion. In general, WDN takes care of all aspects: the preparation and skills provided for the children are solid and adequate for entry into primary school (language, shapes, colours, numbers, etc); the premises are good and safe, even recently expanded; the staff are carefully chosen; there are sufficient resources and materials for the children's development; of course the children are well fed; there are plenty of reports and communications with parents; there are also after-school activities to strengthen community bonds (fathers' days, mothers' days, etc); and I particularly liked that there are frequent trips and outdoor activities in school days, which the children really enjoy; the few times I have needed to contact management, I have always been responded to and actions taken promptly. In short, both my daughters have been here at different stages, and looking at things in perspective, I think it has been the right decision.
Read on GoogleI want to offer our huge thanks to Emma and the team at Wimbledon Day nursery. Both of our kids attended from the ages of ~1 to 4 and we always felt that the children’s care, health, happiness and development were the top priorities for the nursery team. Emma has a talent for picking a great team of kind, knowledgeable people with unlimited patience and our kids loved going to nursery (and their care workers). I was always amazed at the variety of things they got up to and glad for the mess they got to make away from home! So this is a public thanks to the whole team and a strong endorsement to any others considering sending their kids! All the best, the Hattie Family
Read on GoogleWe have been to various nurseries due to change in address and some other reasons. Both our kids attended this nursery for a year or so. But the difference that one year made was enormous. Absolutely fantastic environment lead extremely well by Emma. They focus on all aspects of development and go extra mile when needed to support kids. Thank you team 🙏 By far the best nurseries we have come across.
