This nursery is completely inadequate, with a clear lack of supervision and inconsistent staff practices, leaving our child feeling neglected and unsafe. My child was found by myself (mother) lying on the kitchen floor crying bitterly, the staff present at the moment (Kara) appeared heartless too busy to care washing the utensils in kitchen. A baby should not be in the kitchen due to safety concerns related to potential hazards like hot surfaces, sharp utensils, and the constant movement in the kitchen; I found my child not once but twice even after mentioning to the staff, this just shows the careless attitude. My child was also not given the antibiotics as advised by myself because the staff wanted to go on lunch. The time of lunch for the staff seemed to be a priority over the health of a child The environment is chaotic and poorly maintained, with lack of staff, there was a time there were two staff members looking after 8 toddlers/baby. We were deeply concerned about the overall lack of attention to basic hygiene and safety protocols even after being given our own personal bottles, the staff chose to mix it with the others not at all respecting our request. We strongly advise parents to look elsewhere for quality childcare. It’s not about the awards, but about being responsible towards the care and safety of our children we entrust upon you and we were clearly failed on three occasions. I do not have the option to reply to you below comment hence adding it in here. The least you can do is not lie here on this platform to cover up for your mistake. The team leader Kara was not preparing my bottles and bag, when my bottles were clearly given to you guys to be kept at the nursery for purely baby’s use, which of course you guys failed. Regarding what Kara was doing at the moment I arrived, she was washing left over plates from team time and when I caught her heartlessly allowing my little 8 month on the floor near her feet crying all she had to say to me was it was quiet I thought I might as well wash the dishes, we do not pay a huge amount per day for you guys to act careless, insensitive to a child’s need. So please do not lie to cover up your staff’s mistake. Own it and just apologise, and make sure this does not happen again. Full stop.

All of the team at Windmill Hill have been incredibly welcoming and kind to our little one and ourselves during his first month at nursery. He is definitely getting more settled, but it’s not hard to see that the staff are patient, understanding and nurturing, caring for his needs. They provide helpful updates on a daily basis and on days that they’ve seen it’s been particularly difficult for either little one or us at drop off, there seems to be extra special effort to provide photos of him enjoying himself. We’re also always given a warm welcome morning and evening, and have had thorough and clear answers to our many questions, as well as reassurances on any concerns. I would happily and wholly recommend WH to friends based on our experience so far, thank you to the whole team!

Went about a decade ago (2010-2012ish) and i had a great experience my little cousin goes and enjoys it alot
