How they support every child

SEND provision

All children make good progress, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff work closely with parents and professionals to put effective strategies in place to meet children's needs.

Outdoor space

Skilful staff enhance children's play by extending their experiences from outside the setting. For example, when children show an interest in a recently visited car wash, staff set up a car wash in the garden for children to play in. This supports children's imagination and follows their interests effectively.

Windmill is such a great place! Our daughter has been going there full time since Sep 2022 and it was the absolute best thing we ever did! The team there are amazing, supportive and always have time to discuss anything regarding our daughter. The knowledgeable team there have helped us regarding issues and concerns over development and have supported us every step of the way. When I asked my daughter what she likes most of nursery her response was..”I like the garden activities and circle time” She comes home exhausted but extremely happy. We recommend Windmill to all!

Windmill Nursery is a wonderful nursery where the staff are caring friendly and professional. My little girl loves attending and looks forward to her days there. A great outdoor space and vegetable patch. The app the nursery uses allows you to get regular updates and not feel like your missing out. I really would recommend this great nursery to any parent.

What an incredible nursery. My son has gone since the age of 6 months and even though iv moved location I didn't move him, reason being the service is amazing. The staff are friendly, informative, fun and loving. This honestly is my sons other home and he classes them all as family as he should as he goes for alot of hours. The staff always keep me informed and there's also an app that they upload pictures and information too daily. They accept 20 and 30 hour funding also. Brilliant team and brilliant setting.

Excellent nursery. Lovely warm and friendly environment. Excellent outdoor area. The communication has been fantastic. My sons are both really happy here and my eldest loves telling me about his day. His speech has progressed so well since starting too!

Tegen, Jada and Laura have been instrumental in helping my girls to thrive! The bonds the staff build with the children is amazing and I’ve never seen a nursery whose staff treats children and parents so well!
