About this day nursery

While indoor learning opportunities are varied and engaging, the planning for outdoor learning is not as developed, which means children who prefer to learn outside may be less engaged. However, staff are committed to supporting children in developing a wide range of skills, from communication and language to early mathematical concepts, and independence in self-care, as well as fostering a love of books.

What it's like

Children are happy to attend the playgroup and quickly separate from their parents. Staff have high expectations for children's behaviour, who are generally kind to each other and use their manners. Staff know children well, provide appropriate next steps for their learning, and all children make progress from their starting points.
