About this day nursery

Workplace Nursery is a scheme designed to help both employers and employees save money on childcare costs. The initiative allows employees to pay for nursery fees from their gross salary, resulting in savings on tax and National Insurance contributions.

This arrangement benefits employers by helping them retain staff and improve work-life balance without incurring additional costs. Nurseries also benefit from upfront monthly payments and increased business, making childcare more accessible and affordable for parents.

The scheme is applicable for children from birth up to five years old, or until they start school, and is available nationwide. To qualify, nursery fees must meet a minimum monthly threshold.

While the service provides significant financial advantages, it also fosters a partnership wherein the employee acts as a company representative in discussions with the nursery about how allocated funds can best be utilised for the nursery's benefit, often leading to enhanced facilities and resources for the children.

What parents say

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection

parents say the team goes 'above and beyond' and makes them feel part of their child's learning and development

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well through early identification and tailored strategies that meet their individual needs. Staff work closely with families and external professionals to create personalised plans that help each child to make good progress alongside their peers.

Outdoor space

The inspector observed the quality of teaching during activities, indoors and outdoors. She assessed the impact this has on children's learning. The outdoor provision needs to be enhanced so that learning opportunities are planned with the same depth and variety as indoors, ensuring children who prefer to learn outside are fully supported.

WARNING: Extremely Poor Care and Neglect at This Nursery I strongly advise parents to think twice before sending their children to this nursery. It has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with any childcare provider in Oldbury. My daughter suffered multiple unexplained injuries while in their care. At just two years old, she came home with a scar near her eye on one occasion, and another time with a severe swelling on her forehead. Shockingly, the staff provided no clear explanation or evidence as to how these injuries occurred. Due to their negligence, I had to rush my daughter to A&E twice, which was traumatic for both of us. The lack of accountability and the dismissive attitude from the staff raised serious concerns about their standards of care and professionalism. If you value your child’s safety, wellbeing, and dignity, please do not ignore these red flags. This place should not be trusted with vulnerable children.
