About this day nursery

Wright Start Day Nurseries, established in 2010, welcomes children aged 0-4 years to its "home-from-home" setting in Ingatestone. 30pm, the nursery provides a warm and stimulating environment where children feel safe and develop a strong sense of belonging.

The latest Ofsted inspection, on 2 June 2023, rated Wright Start Day Nurseries as "Good" overall, highlighting the high standard of teaching and the commitment of staff to ensuring all children make good progress. The curriculum is enriched with real-life experiences, including weekly French lessons, sport, and music sessions, and visits from professionals like dentists.

The indoor environments are thoughtfully resourced to cover all seven areas of learning, with separate areas tailored for babies and older children. The nursery excels in supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) through robust and effective assessments.

Parents consistently report excellent daily face-to-face communication and regular updates on their children's learning and progress, contributing to a strong partnership between home and nursery.

The management team are highly reflective and dedicated to delivering an inclusive and safe setting, ensuring staff well-being and continuous professional development.
