Fees are structured by age band across three groups from 3 months to 5 years. Parents can choose between full day, morning, or afternoon sessions. All meals and snacks are included in the standard rates.

How they support every child

SEND provision

The special educational needs coordinator uses her good knowledge and experience to identify children who need extra support. She links well with parents and other agencies and develops a sensory room to ensure each child can reach their potential. Staff caring for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are given good guidance and use specific teaching strategies, such as picture communication cards, to aid children's progress. Additional funding is used well to support children's progress.

Outdoor space

Children develop good physical skills and participate in exciting and varied on-site outdoor activities, such as building dens in the woods or woodland garden. Staff encourage children to develop good personal independence skills, such as putting on their coats and hats for outdoor play.

Such a great nursery with amazing and dedicated staff. We volunteered here to support our adoption application and I couldn’t recommend it enough if this is something you are doing for fostering or adoption. Angela the Nursery Manager has been so amazing to support us in coming into this following our DBS clearance. Having spent time in the nursery it really is a great place for children and is easy to see the great care all the staff have for the children. The bonds they build and ensure all the children are looked after are great. This will definitely be first on our list when we start our family for a nursery to use as you don’t find many with the size and facilities outside that they have at Fairthorne. The children are taken out for walks in the forest all the time which is amazing and great to see them enjoying the experience. Couldn’t recommend this place enough and thank you to Angela and all the staff for such a warm welcome and support during our volunteering.

My 18month old son attends nursery in Rabbits. He has thrived and become such a positive little boy interacting with other children, along with lots of lap time while reading books. Our favourite is when they go for little walks to see the ducks and we see all the wonderful moments shared through pictures. A true credit to all the staff in Rabbits! We are looking forward to watching him grow within all the settings at Fairthorne! Highly recommend x

Our daughter started going at just under 6 months and she’s absolutely loved it since day one! She’s nearly 11 months old now and as she’s getting older - she’s having even more fun! The team are all super friendly, so kind, warm and clearly care for our daughter which is the best. Our daughter has also clearly bonded with Liv and the team as you see how excited she it each day she goes. We love all the update photos and videos showing everything she gets up to - and when we get little crafts like cards too. We can’t fault the team or the nursery at all - have recommended so many parents since Thank you!

Our little boy started at Fairthorne Manor Nursery at 10 months old and has continued through until he starts school this September. He has thrived at the nursery with fantastic support from the staff! He was always quiet and anxious but they have really brought him out of his shell to be confident and ready for school! We loved the daily use of the outside space despite the weather! We have been so happy with the nursery that we have just started our second child there! Thank you Fairthorne for everything!!

A great campsite for family fun. No EHU but a great site surrounded by forest. They also do lots of events that are really good. The nursery is the best in the area and both our kids have absolutely loved their time there. I always recommend it to anyone looking.
