2J's Pre-School provides a warm, fun, and stimulating environment for children aged 2-4 years, offering a solid foundation for lifelong learning through play. With locations in Gillingham and Strood, the pre-school operates during term time from 9 am to 3 pm, focusing on affordable childcare.
Both settings are dedicated to fostering a love for learning, supported by a high ratio of qualified and committed teachers who guide children through diverse activities, skill development, and confidence-building. The Strood branch, established in 2006, initially operated by packing away equipment daily but now enjoys sole usage of its premises, allowing for a more permanent and enriching environment.
The Gillingham setting, acquired in 2013, similarly benefits from a permanent setup. The pre-school consistently strives to enhance its practices and create inspiring experiences that enable children to engage in purposeful play, build relationships, and achieve their full potential as independent learners.
Parents are encouraged to review their positive feedback on the nursery's Facebook page.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities make good progress; staff break down next steps into small achievable tasks to support them. The SENCo knows children's needs well, works closely with staff, parents and external agencies, and puts strategies in place quickly.
Children have ample opportunities for physical development: they create assault courses, climb and balance on equipment, and use large indoor swings and bars to build upper-body strength. They also take regular trips to local parks and make community outings such as visits to supermarkets and charity shops.
Good and experienced staff. Very friendly. Good clean environment with lots of toys and activities for the children. My boys showed remarkable growth while they attended the nursery. Despite they were twins they could accurately describe each of them personalities and attributes. That show a lot of dedication and attention to details. I am overall very impressed and have had a great positive experience with them.
Read on GoogleMy daughter attended here for a year and a half and she loved every minute of it! Whenever I had any concerns they would listen to me and work with my child to support her and it always showed how hard they worked with her. My daughter is an October baby so one of the older ones, they ensured that she was still stimulated and learning through activities. They have not only supported my child, but also supported me when I was made redundant and would ask how I was doing. My daughter only left a couple of days ago and she keeps telling me she misses preschool already! Overall, this is a lovely preschool with lovely staff and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or send another child there.
Read on GoogleAfter bringing my child here for 2 and a half years I can honestly say how amazing this nursery is. All of the staff are brilliant and go above and beyond for the children they care for. My child has grown in so many ways since attending and it’s with thanks to the ladies who work there. We are going to miss everyone at 2J’s and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a nursery for their child.
