Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

When children need additional support with an area of learning, staff work with external agencies. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported.

Outdoor space

Staff create opportunities for children to be physically active; children spend extended periods of time in the garden and walk to the local forest to explore the large open space and natural materials. Children learn about the world around them as they notice changes throughout the seasons, run and explore, and learn about road safety as they listen to adults and follow instructions.

My son loves attending Abacus. We are so glad we made the choice to send him here. He is currently in the baby room being looked after by Yasmin and the outstanding team. Yasmin is incredibly caring, loving and absolutely brilliant to work with. We are always met by smiles on drop off and pick ups. Looking forward to working with Abacus in the next few years as my son continues to grow.

We were recommended Abacus by some local parents and I'm so glad they did, it is easy to see why people are evangelical about it. Our 14 month old absolutely loves going there, he is excited at every drop off and beaming ear to ear every pick up. The 'welcome committee' really sets the tone each day, it is clearly such a positive and compassionate environment. Our son is in the baby room and is so well looked after, in particular by his carer Lorelle who is obviously super attentive and caring. It has been wonderful to see his development since starting, and I would recommend Abacus highly to anyone looking for a nurturing, engaging and loving place for babies/toddlers.

We have had such a wonderful experience with Abacus Nursery School at various points with my three children. My youngest is currently under Kayleigh's care and she is so lovely, compassionate & professional. I couldn't recommend her and the whole Abacus team more highly!

long due review for this great nursery. both our kids attended Abacus and it's been the best choice we could make. We've seen our kids bloom and their potential called out and nurtured by the amazing staff (Kayleigh, Chelsea and the other girls are really fantastic). As a parent I've been loving how I've been kept updated on how my children are doing, that helped me and my wife to follow up with them at home. really a fantastic nursery, I can't recommend this place enough. good job Lienne, this place is a foundational pillar for Streatham
