Pricing & funding

Fees are invoiced in advance on a monthly or termly basis. Admin fees and deposits apply for those booking additional hours. Fees remain payable during bank holidays and inset days.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff provide targeted support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and other children who need additional help. Leaders ensure that children who are entitled to additional funding get this and that it is used to support any gaps in their development.

Outdoor space

Staff extend children's learning as they plant real flowers and seeds for their nursery garden. Children practice physical skills such as balancing on stepping stones and jumping over hoops around an obstacle course, although staff do not always use these opportunities to extend counting.

EAL / language support

Children who speak English as an additional language are supported well; staff role model language, repeat key words and use visual prompts such as picture cards and a pictorial timetable.

Both my children attended this nursery, it is really good. The staff are so warm and welcoming and they focus a lot on the childrens development. My children had very different needs and they were able to help me a lot with ensuring that they were able to then progress to school level; always instilling so much confidence and reinforcing good social behaviour.

All three of my children have enjoyed Abbey Nursery. It's very well run and the staff are friendly and approachable. And it has an Outstanding Ofsted Report.
