Happy Stars Day Nursery is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment where children aged 0 to 5 can flourish, learn, and develop crucial life skills. With two conveniently located settings in Scunthorpe, Happy Stars Babies caters to the youngest learners, while the main Happy Stars Day Nursery and After School Club provides comprehensive care and engaging activities for older children.

The nursery prides itself on its experienced and passionate team, many of whom hold Level 3 qualifications or degrees in Early Childhood Studies. The staff-to-child ratio is carefully maintained to ensure personalised attention and support for each child's individual journey.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive good support from staff. Staff monitor children's progress closely and swiftly identify children who need additional support to meet their development goals. They work closely with the local authority and parents to ensure that children receive targeted intervention.

Outdoor space

Outside, older children chalk pictures of monsters and describe the sound their monster makes to staff. Children have many opportunities to practise their small- and large-muscle skills. Outside, children build intricate obstacle courses, which they then balance on, and they climb the large equipment.
