Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported; managers use funding creatively to meet children's individual needs. Staff identify additional needs early and work effectively with a range of professionals to ensure children make the best possible progress.
Children join in activities outdoors and use the garden for play and exploration; they balance guttering to roll cars and dig in soil to explore vegetables, supporting their understanding of nature. Children change into indoor slippers when they come inside from the garden.
Staff use pictures, gestures and spoken language to support children who speak English as an additional language to express their ideas.
