Inclusion & environment
Children demonstrate confidence practising physical skills, for example using ride-on toys, and staff support them to be independent, such as putting on coats for outdoor play. Children have access to daily fresh air and occasional trips to supermarkets, parks and other open spaces, although outdoor learning intentions are sometimes less focused on strengthening learning.
Staff gather key words for children who speak English as an additional language and use this information to plan from the outset.
