Children relish the outdoor provision and use a woodland area for den building, making potions and activities that develop coordination and muscle control. My son has been attending All Children Great and Small in Swinton since September 2024 (he started at 10 months old) and has had the most amazing experiences. My husband suggested this nursery after seeing the children and staff out a lot around the Swinton area whilst working and visiting family. The children were always polite to his family when out and about and amazingly behaved and we had heart great things, as well as read their amazing ofsted reviews. The nursery has since exceeded our expectations! Staff are amazing, warm and welcoming. They give great updates everyday at pick up and are often sending home some very detailed reports on how your child is doing. The nursery has helped grow my son’s confidence and vocabulary so much in such a short space of time! He has come on so far and all of my family (even the grandparents who originally did not like the idea of him being in nursery at such a young age) have said they personally believe he is so mature for his age with regards to speaking and actions and it is down to the nursery setting he is in. We can’t thank the nursery and its staff enough! He has made some amazing friends and their menu is so varied and healthy that it has helped us broaden his palate as well with regards to foods when home or out and about. It is lovely to see the children together and events like the carols around the campfire and the photos they post on the app for parents to see throughout the day. Thank you so much guys, wouldn’t picture him anywhere else and would recommend you to everyone I know!
Read on GoogleMy daughter has attended nursery since she was 18 months old. I was very worried about her attending nursery which was why I left it so long. However I shouldn't have worried as she has been well supported at every stage and has attended nursery for 1.5 years now. She has had some amazing keyworkers who have supported us throughout including through potty training. My daughter is very sociable and loves telling me about all the nursery workers and I know everyone's names and which activities they do with the children which is lovely. She's also got a little friend group which I never expected and I love getting to hear about her adventures with her friends. We have always felt comfortable to ask questions and seek advice as all the nursery workers are friendly and approachable. I highly recommend All Children Great and Small I am so glad we chose this setting.
Read on GoogleMy little boy has just started here and when we came to view the setting in August 2024 Katrina was very helpful and informative! We had another 2 visits before his settling in session and on both occasions, each time the staff made an effort to say hi to us and our little boy to make us all feel welcome. Ebony was great when doing the getting to know us session and helped us with any questions we had before his start date and also interacted with our little boy while he explored the toys. Sophie has been amazing this last few days, giving us updates on his settling in and his time so far, sending picture updates and also updating us on all things care related! Katrina and Teresa have been helpful with any questions we’ve had by email and have always replied promptly prior to his start with anything we’ve needed or any changes. The staff do an amazing job and I don’t think people working in this setting get enough credit. The time and precision in looking after the children to a high level, supporting different needs & giving them a great experience as well as putting parents minds at ease with the frequent daily updates. Thank you :)
Read on GoogleBoth of my boys have attended this nursery and the care they provide is amazing. The staff work so hard to provide a nurturing environment where the children can learn and grow. Their days are filled with adventure and outdoor learning, and this has definitely promoted a love of the outdoors with both of my children. They are now both so physically confident when outdoors and I would 100% recommend a forest nursery to anyone! Staff are helpful, friendly and seem to really care about the children they are looking after. Thank you so much!
Read on GoogleMy son started at All Children Great and Small in Swinton in July 2025, as he turned 1, and I couldn't recommend it enough. His key worker Chloe (and all the staff we've met) is absolutely brilliant with him and he is so excited to be handed over to her in a morning. He has come on so much since starting and loves all the time they spend outside. The menu each week is great and I wish I could go for tea! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
