Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The manager and special educational needs coordinator visit local schools and liaise with professionals to understand how to support children moving on. The needs of children who may have SEND are quickly identified, and staff put support in place, engaging effectively with parents, professionals and the community to provide early intervention.

Outdoor space

Staff use the outdoor area and local woods extensively for learning, with activities in the garden (for example, using tape measures to compare heights) and trips to the woods to build Stickman characters from natural materials. These activities support physical development, early mathematics, literacy, problem-solving and children's interest in nature.
