Inclusion & environment
Children are offered plenty of opportunities to play outside in the large garden to develop large-muscle skills, balance and coordination when they ride on toys and climb on larger apparatus. The manager has improved the garden with a wildlife area and recycling activities, such as making bird feeders from plastic milk cartons, giving children space to run and explore nature.
Children who speak English as an additional language are supported with opportunities to hear nursery rhymes in English and their home language, and they make very good progress in their understanding of English.
