How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities have individual programmes subject to regular review; the special educational needs coordinator accurately measures progress and makes well-informed referrals for specialist advice and support, ensuring coordinated help that prepares children well for their future education.

Outdoor space

Staff and parents work together to develop a varied and stimulating outdoor area, and the manager shares with parents how to extend learning at home. Children use outdoor resources to practise physical skills (for example, wobble board, low beam, climbing frame) and show whole-body engagement and determination in physical play.

EAL / language support

Children who speak English as an additional language make rapid progress in learning to speak English.

Both my children attended Allsorts and I would highly recommend this preschool. They have just a few rules for the children to remember and this worked brilliantly for my eldest! The staff work hard, through child led activities, to explore and enable the children's interests, working in so much learning on the way that the children learn to love learning. Kathryn and the team were sensitive to my children's individual needs and communication with us parents was exceptional. My boys both loved attending.

My twins attended All-sorts and had a wonderful time there. There was never any difficulty leaving them as they always enjoyed being there so much. The staff are very welcoming, kind and attentive to the children. The activities are very child led, so they always build on what the child is interested in, which really promotes learning and exploration. My son is autistic and the staff worked really well to support him and accommodate his needs, evening purchasing additional resources to support and interest him. I would highly recommend All-sorts.

My youngest child attended Allsorts for around 18 months before starting school. The staff are caring and friendly and the child-led ethos of the setting is consistent and such an asset. My child loved every moment at Allsorts and was able to explore their own interests and ideas. The staff encouraged them in their learning and development, helping them to find out more and explore. We especially liked that the children had the freedom to plan their own day and activities and that the activities the staff arranged were not compulsory and were often spontaneous based in the interests of the children. The high standards of care and dedication shown by the staff is exemplary. It is a wonderful preschool community that we are so glad we were apart of.

Absolutely fabulous preschool set in a quiet location surrounded by trees and green open space with views over the Cheshire plain. Fabulous facilities and space to play and move around inside and out.. my children have also really loved the opportunity to take part in planned sessions of forest school on location. Allsorts is headed by an incredible and very experienced team of staff who have the interest of the children at the complete heart of all that they do. It is second to none in its child led approach and forward thinking to support of all aspects of child development. Absolutely brilliant!

My daughter attended this preschool for two years and we absolutely loved it. The staff are really kind and really support the children in developing their interests. We loved the freeflow learning and the fact that my daughter had the autonomy to move between indoor and outdoor play as she chose. Highly recommended!
