How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) enjoy good levels of support; staff work closely with other agencies to ensure these children make good progress. Managers use additional funding well to support children with SEND, for example purchasing a 'tactile board' and books, and staff promote communication for children who struggle to communicate verbally.

Outdoor space

Children play outdoors each day, in all weathers, developing physical skills such as climbing, balancing and riding bicycles. Pre-school children have regular opportunities in a forest-school environment to explore the natural world and learn to assess risk when crossing the road and when collecting natural items.

My daughter started here in January 2025 and I’m so happy I chose Almond House Nursery.. the whole team are amazing and they keep me updated throughout the day about what my little girl has been up to. The food they provide for the little ones is brilliant and all homemade/healthy. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone..5 stars!! Thankyou x

The best nursery I could have dreamed of!! My son enjoyed every moment spent in Almond House, at first he couldn’t speak much English. I was very worried about him and worried about his communication, but now I am happy how they helped him find his way around the nursery and get to know the place very quickly also the English language. Every time I’m picking him up with a big smile on his face and a comment that he liked it and it was great. I get photos and information about his stay at Nursery during the day. Big Thank You to the staff from Pre school! Xx

Such a fantastic nursery! My daughter looks forward to nursery ever day, the staff are so lovely, they are super friendly and keep parents up to date with the day to day goings on. I’m a huge worrier and they put me at ease whenever it is needed (which is probably a lot😅) they are also very helpful with queries on fundings and happy to provide any additional support a parent may need, thank you Almond house nursery staff!! 💕 x

Both of my children have attended this nursery and my you gets has spent time across all three rooms as he has moved up. Both have loved their time here and have created good bonds with the staff. All staff have been very helpful with specific medical needs also.

Amazing, kind and helpful staff! They always send pictures at the end of the day and I get daily updates on the app. My little boy has the best time here. His key worker Yasmin is brilliant and he has really warmed to her. Would recommend to anyone:)
