Alphabet City Day Nursery, established in 2007, operates across two sites in Basingstoke: Highfields and Falconhurst (opened 2014). The day nursery caters to children from 3 months to 4 years old, offering a "home from home" environment designed to be inviting, warm, nurturing, and inclusive.

Children use the garden area and are taken on outings to explore frost and ice after finding an ice puddle in the garden. The inspector and manager carried out a joint observation in the garden area.
