Inclusion & environment
Children with additional needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, are very well supported; staff know them well, help parents access outside agencies (for example, speech and language and an educational psychologist), and offer a weekly communication group supported by the local children's centre. However, support for communication is not yet fully effective because some staff forget to build on children's speech as they play alongside them.
Children have free-flow access to outdoor space; older children climb on frames and ride scooters, toddlers scoop sand, and babies use well-placed equipment to pull up to standing. This supports large-muscle development, children's confidence and their good health.
We are so glad we decided to choose this Nursery 4 years ago for our first born. From the moment we were shown around by Zoe and looked at the play rooms and baby room we knew it was right. From the off the staff was incredibly kind and caring to us parents and our little one. Since then we have also sent our twin boys there and they love it just as much. The staff are incredible with all that they do with the children and all 3 have come so far with their development. Thank you to all the staff that have helped our little ones turn from babies into big boys.
