Apple Daycare in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, provides all-year care and education for children from birth to four years old. The day nursery was inspected by Ofsted in March 2023 and judged to be Outstanding. Children experience an ambitious curriculum that is tailored to their learning needs and are keen to engage in the activities provided. The inspector noted that babies' physical development is highly promoted and that established routines help children to feel secure.
Staff support children’s development, particularly in communication and language. The special educational needs coordinator works in partnership with parents and other professionals to review children's progress and ensure they get the support needed. The Ofsted report records parent comments that staff are supportive and approachable and that they are kept exceptionally well informed. A highly effective settling-in procedure helps children to build positive relationships from the start.

At Apple Day care, we offer professional childcare in a warm, relaxed and homely setting. Guided by the principles and aims of the Early Years Foundation Stage (2025), we work to the highest, most modern and forward-thinking standards in early years practice.
