The Apple Tree Day Nursery is a purpose-built facility established in 2012, thoughtfully designed to cater to the developmental needs of young children from 6 months to 5 years old. The nursery is structured into age-appropriate rooms, ensuring that activities and care are aligned with each child's stage of growth, though these age guidelines can be flexible.

Operating from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, throughout the year with closures only for bank holidays and a short Christmas break, the nursery offers both full-time and term-time placements, requiring a minimum attendance of two full days or four half days per week. Meals such as breakfast, hot lunch, and tea are included in full-day sessions.

Inclusion & environment
The support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities is superb. Staff work in partnership with parents and relevant professionals to put highly effective individual plans in place. Nursery leaders use additional funding to provide children with extra support from staff who are very knowledgeable. Children are able to successfully access the curriculum and make progress in their learning and development.
Staff very carefully plan the indoor and outdoor environments, considering the different needs and interests of children. Staff observe older children's fascination with tending the plants in the garden. They create a pretend garden centre to build on children's interests.
An excellent/ clean/ small and safe nursery. The staff are all brilliant with the children. I would highly recommend Apple tree to anyone who's looking for childcare.
