Stepping Stones of Scawby is a preschool, out-of-school club, and holiday club situated on the same premises as Scawby Academy. Dedicated to providing exceptional care, the setting fosters a warm and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, play, and explore.
The team is committed to collaborating with parents and the wider community, actively seeking suggestions for improvement. Operating under the guidance of St Hybald's Academy and its Board of Directors, the management team includes Mrs. Zoe Birchall (Headteacher), Mr. Anthony Wells (Deputy Headteacher), and Miss Courtney Wilson (Stepping Stones of Scawby Manager).
The staff is highly qualified, with 100% holding or working towards a Level 3 qualification and all being first aid trained. The nursery also supports professional development by offering apprenticeships to school leavers.

Inclusion & environment
The support for children with a SEND is wonderful due to the work of the special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) and the staff team. The SENCo works tirelessly to ensure children's needs are met through group or individual interventions, and support from external agencies is implemented in a timely manner.
Staff support children's physical development very well. They provide a wealth of opportunities for children to be physically active, while also developing their imaginative play experiences in the outdoor area. Children make wonderful progress with developing their physical skills.
