Ashbourne Baby Nursery at Princes Risborough offers a nurturing, home-like environment for children from three months old, featuring a newly expanded bespoke baby room. The nursery is dedicated to providing a strong foundation for every child through its unique "Future Foundations" curriculum, which integrates curiosity-inspired learning spaces for babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers.
They focus on individual child development by building on interests and fostering a love for learning through enriching activities. Nutritional meals and snacks, prepared on-site by a chef, cater to all dietary needs and support babies through weaning.
The nursery prides itself on its experienced practitioners who monitor progress and plan activities to help children develop skills across all learning areas, preparing them for school. Key highlights include flexible sessions, dedicated outdoor areas for each room, a cooking club, and a commitment to having all staff paediatric first aid trained.
They operate Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, for 51 weeks a year, closing only for Bank Holidays and over Christmas.
Our ethos
Following our bespoke Future Foundations curriculum, we’re passionate about creating the best possible start for every child. We’ve recently expanded our setting to include a bespoke baby room, ensuring our youngest children have a nurturing space designed just for them. Each area of our nursery is thoughtfully set up for specific age ranges, giving babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers experiences that are perfectly matched to their stage of development. Across all our rooms and outdoor spaces, we build on children’s interests to spark their curiosity and support them as they learn and grow.
What it's like
Children follow a curriculum that encourages them to 'walk, talk and be kind', providing excellent foundations for their future learning and superb literacy skills. Despite their young age, children are rapidly developing speech and confidently use words to share experiences. They show deep affection for staff and learn to be considerate towards others, demonstrating high levels of self-esteem and confidence.
