Inclusion & environment
The provision for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities is strong. Leaders and staff closely monitor children's progress, working with parents and outside agencies to develop individual learning programmes. They make effective use of funding, having created a sensory room to help children manage their feelings, and adapt arrangements like providing smaller adult-to-child ratios for additional support.
The report does not provide specific details about the outdoor space or how children use it for physical play.
⸻ This is the last year of my twins at this nursery, and what a journey it has been! The staff have been incredibly helpful and supportive to both my twins and me. I would like to give a special thank you to Ishma, the manager. Within a week of starting, she identified my child’s needs, and we began the EHCP process. She implemented several reasonable adjustments and put important support in place, which has made a real difference. My twins genuinely enjoy coming to nursery, and I can see the excitement, especially from my child with additional needs. This is a true reflection of the care, attention, and dedication the staff show toward all the children.
Read on GoogleThis nursery has gone downhill since ashborne has taken over, there new menu is horrendous and theres no options for a packed lunch, so if children as little as 3 dont eat theyre given a cracker, a CRACKER?! £120 for consumables and theyre eating crackers?. Send your kids elsewhere this nursery is EXTREMELY dissappointing.
Read on GoogleLovely nursery, each room has access directly to the outdoor area. Plenty of parking for easy drop offs.
Read on GoogleBe careful about sending your children here. They talk the talk but do not walk the walk. Staff members incapable of handling an emergency situation appropriately, abusive toward parents - in-front of the children. Incident report to senior management at Ashbourne and no follow up calls received, no apology from staff member, just brushed under the carpet. The staff are unable to manage the high numbers of children they now have so children sent home in wet pants. Was even told by a staff member “must be the cheap food” !! Professionalism here leaves a lot to be desired Go elsewhere
Read on GoogleA superb nursery that's right next to Hodge Hill Primary and Secondary school. It's great for little ones, and has many facilities and helpful staff. The teachers/carers at the nursery are supportive and helpful. Thank you
