Our little boy has been here 3 days a week from 20 months old, after our childminder stopped childminding. He liked the toddler room he was in for his first year there and everyone was so kind helping him settle in - he particularly liked Poppy, Hannah and Steph. He has recently gone up to the preschool room and absolutely loves it. He's always happy to go in, smiling when I pick him up and chatting non stop about Ellie, Grace and Chrissie. Building is a bit old and tired but frankly I couldn't care less - it's safe, they make the most of what they've got and come up with all sorts of creative activities, and the main thing is that the staff really care. Connor, the assistant manager, has been consistently great from the beginning. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

After working in a number of childcare facilities over the years Ashington Children's Nursery is one of the best. The staff are so welcoming and the children enjoy a wide variety of activities and my son who has been there for over 2 years has come on so much with all their support. Their on site chef Jo offers a varied menu full of nutrition and they cater for all dietary needs. Abbey the nursery manager and her team are very friendly and offer a lot of support to parents and children a like no problem is too big or too small, the children thrive in their care. I would definitely recommend Ashington Children's Nursery to anyone looking for a nursery for their little bundle of joy.

Going back to work and sending your little on off to nursery is a daunting time but all the team at Ashington have been amazing and made the whole experience easy for me. My little one is only 13 months and she settled within 2 days and that is thanks to the staff who are all so friendly and caring. It's a lovely nursery and my little one loves it.

Hi, Hannah and her team really helped us out when our local nursery was shut at short notice, our little one loved this nursery, staff are super friendly, the chef cooks amazing food, the only reason we had to change back was the travel - Highly recommend.
