Our ethos
Our nursery was founded on a number of core principles: To offer an affordable uncompromised childcare experience. To use technology to enhance the parents' day to day experience of the setting. To create an Inclusive learning environment in which all those involved feel able to actively engage, feel safe and feel welcome. To be confident in trying new approaches as with innovation comes enriched experiences. To understand the constraints of working parents and to focus on relieving their stress and making childcare more enjoyable and not as daunting. To care, respect and encourage not only the children but the staff and parents. To have fun. The founders of the nursery understand that they have become custodians of the nursery, they use the word custodians as the nursery really belongs to the staff, children and parents that attend it.

Inclusion & environment
Proactive staff ensure that children with SEND receive early help and support, liaising with parents and other professionals and incorporating advice into individual learning plans. Staff place a sharp focus on enhancing social skills, and children with SEND are beginning to engage alongside others in activities such as tennis.
Children spend time outdoors in the fresh air each day and enjoy regular visits to the local running track where they take part in races. Staff are creating a climbing room to provide more opportunities for daily physical exercise.
Staff encourage younger children, including those who speak English as an additional language, to listen to a variety of music that reflects their home cultures, though staff working with older children gather less in-depth information about children's backgrounds and heritage.
