How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff provide good support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They work closely with children's parents, follow guidance from other professionals, and create targeted plans to help children progress with their learning. The manager ensures additional funding is used effectively to help children engage in learning and access the curriculum in a safe and suitable way according to their needs.

Outdoor space

Older children enjoy using the obstacle course, set up by staff in the garden, to challenge themselves to balance, hop, and jump. Children start off cautiously, but very quickly demonstrate confidence in their new skills as they proudly show staff how they can balance without help.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for a couple of months now and absolutely loves it. I chose this nursery as on viewing it seemed very relaxed and well managed. The children appeared to be engaged and it had a sense of calm about it. i also loved the fact they have a lifevac and defib on site! As a first time mum, I was extremely anxious about sending my daughter but the staff made me feel so relaxed from the beginning. They provide updates throughout the day along with pictures of what they have been up to. Meals and snacks are healthy and nutritious. I'm glad I picked banana moon nursery.

My son has been attending Banana Moon for over a year now and absolutely loves it. All of the staff are so lovely and caring. He learns so much each week. They have also been very accommodating as he has a medical condition, which has put my mind at ease completely. Highly recommend!

My daughter has started here 1 month after leaving previous nursery with bad experience. She really enjoys it she's happy to go. And I can see on the app they provide that she does a lot of things and really enjoys doing them she has developed a really good bond with staff and children. I had a very bad experience at the start with her being sent home bacause of a high temp and saying it was covid when it wasn't. And i had to get her tested and had to wait 6 days for it to arrive. I was so disappointed I handed my notice in and wrote to head office. I was thinking this nursery is going to keep sending her home like the last one. And started having anxiety and having bad mental health. But after her first day back (negative) when I picked her up my husband was greeted by staff and explained why they did what they did. And after that. We received a phone call from the home manager who explained her reasons for dismissle and I found that very professional and very fair. So I said I was happy to keep her in. She really enjoys it she comes home with so much stuff she has learnt like Counting she can say many more words I can't thank this nursery enough for the service they provide for my daughter!
