The Family Haven, established in 1988, serves as a vital day centre in Gloucester, dedicated to supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged families. The centre offers a comprehensive approach to improving the lives of both parents and their pre-school children.
Key services include a registered nursery with qualified staff, providing education, respite, and creche facilities, alongside one-to-one sessions for children with additional needs. For parents, The Family Haven provides practical and emotional support through parenting classes, healthy eating workshops, laundry and bathing facilities, and hot midday meals for all.

Staff swiftly identify any delays in children's development and work with other professionals to provide children with additional support to help close any gaps. As a result, all children, including those who have additional needs, make good progress from their starting points.
Outdoor space
Children enjoy regular fresh air and exercise in the outdoor area and on outings in the local community. They move confidently around the garden as they explore resources and are supported well by staff in activities like making marks in snow and using toy diggers.
