Children are happy to attend and clearly have positive relationships with staff and their peers, with less confident children given reassurance from kind and caring staff. Staff have high expectations for children's behaviour and plan activities that encourage sharing and turn-taking, supporting children to manage conflicts. Inclusion & environment
Children love to be outside and show good physical development, taking age-appropriate risks and managing them independently. Staff ensure all children have daily access to the outdoors, encouraging them to develop social skills through activities like chasing games and imaginative play in the role-play kitchen.
Awful nursery, review is from the time (2025) my children came here and I’m glad I took my children out, this place has some of the rudest and most lazy staff in the that not only myself have experienced other parents have mentioned the same.My child’s coat was always on the floor when I’d pick him up and staff in the full moons room would literally just sit and stare at each to see who would get up and let me know how my sons day was. Also the is ‘nursery’ was recently in the Leicester mercury regarding a serious and potentially dangerous situation that occurred here. Do not bring your child here
Read on GoogleNot sure how this nursery is even being run — the staff are lazy and rude. The person supposedly in charge just sits on the sofa instead of engaging with the children, and some staff are downright disrespectful, even shouting at the kids. The activities are very basic too, which is disappointing when you’re paying good money for proper childcare and development.
Read on GoogleMy twins joined the nursery at 7mo and have loved the last three months. The app is also a great tool to see how they’re getting on, what they eat, photos of their day and any developmental milestones they meet. The staff are lovely and always give a detailed handover when babies are picked up.
Read on GoogleBoth my children attend BananaMoon and my eldest has been going there three years now. Throughout the years we have seen the nursery grow and develop to become such a wonderful place with great staff. My kids have formed such lovely bonds with all the members of the team and it truly is going to be heartbreaking when they leave. Thank you for all the support and the care you have shown my children!
Read on GoogleMy daughter loves her days spent at Banana Moon. She has settled in so well and made lots of friends (including the staff), she really enjoys the variety of activities that are provided for her to do. I like that the children can also spontaneously decided what they want to do and that making their own choices is encouraged. They offer a variety off different foods at meal times and sometimes the children even get involved and make their own, such as pizzas. My daughter loves to be creative and has a wild imagination, I really like that all the staff embrace this and even encourage it with their interactions with her and the activities that are available for her to take part in. Playing outdoors is not off limits even if the weather isn’t the best they just wrap up and put on their wellies. I am happy that my child is in safe hands whilst she is at Banana Moon and the extra measure that have been put in place due to COVID-19 are more than sufficient to protect both the children & staff. My daughter is very happy at this nursery and always has plenty to tell us about her day when she gets home.
