The Hamilton setting is conveniently situated on the grounds of Hope Hamilton Primary School, fostering a smooth transition for children moving into primary education. The Glenfield nursery operates from a newly renovated building with modern facilities.
The nursery prioritises a stimulating and engaging environment, encouraging learning through discovery and play. They also provide healthy and diverse freshly cooked meals with a four-week rotating menu, offering breakfast, lunch, tea, and snacks throughout the day.
Emphasis is placed on creating a nurturing atmosphere where staff build strong attachments with children, supporting their development from infancy through to pre-school years and preparing them for school readiness.

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
parents speak about how settled their children are and of how staff keep them informed of their children's learning, as well as sharing ideas with them, on how to support this at home.
Inclusion & environment
Interactions between staff and children are variable and staff do not focus enough on what it is that children need to learn next. This is particularly so for children who struggle with their speech and language development, which leads to weaker progress for these children. Staff caring for toddlers and preschool children are not consistently supporting every child to make appropriate progress, particularly in their communication and language.
Toddlers and preschool children love to be outdoors. They learn how to climb steps up to the slide and across wooden beams, closely supported by staff. Children show good coordination as they manoeuvre wheeled toys in and around their play spaces.
I highly recommend High Hopes Day Nursery to new parents looking for a nurturing environment for their children. The nursery offers a clean and hygienic space, which is so important for young children. My daughter has learned so much during her time here, and the staff truly care about the development and well-being of every child. The staff members are attentive, compassionate, and highly skilled in fostering growth and learning. I have seen my daughter flourish in both her learning and social skills, thanks to the wonderful support and encouragement she receives at the nursery. It has been a wonderful experience, and I am confident that any child would thrive here.
Read on GoogleMy son started at High Hope roughly a year ago. When we first visited, we were impressed by how clean the nursery was and the large outdoor play area—perfect for my son, who absolutely loves being outside. The nursery manager, Rashika, is very friendly and approachable. Anytime we had a concern, she took it seriously and resolved it promptly. My son has developed so much since joining High Hope. They plan different activities every day to keep the children engaged, and the variety really shows. One of the biggest improvements we’ve seen is with food. My son hardly ate at his previous nursery, but at High Hope, he really enjoys the meals. The food quality is great. Parents receive two meetings a year, along with daily handovers, which keep us informed. The staff are focused, hardworking, and have a genuinely caring nature. There are far more positives than negatives. The only minor downside is that the nursery has a strict sickness policy. Also, while they do update the app with information, it’s done weekly—we would love to see more frequent (perhaps daily) updates. Overall, we’re very happy with the care and attention our child receives at High Hope.
Read on GoogleI cannot recommend Hopes High Day Nursery School enough! From the very first day my daughter started attending, I have been incredibly impressed with the level of care, attention, and education provided. The staff are truly exceptional—warm, nurturing, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth and happiness. They take the time to understand every child’s needs, ensuring that they feel safe, comfortable, and excited to learn. My daughter absolutely loves and happy with her teachers. One of the things I appreciate the most is the regular updates from the school. They keep parents well-informed about their child’s progress, daily activities, and any important events. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my daughter is in such capable hands. Hopes High Day Nursery School is more than just a nursery—it’s a place where children thrive, grow, and develop a love for learning. I’m so grateful for the wonderful experience my daughter is having, and I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring and high-quality early education setting.
Read on GoogleI can still remember how warm and clean the environment was when I 1st walked into high hope nursery and then to how Rashika the manager attended to me despite her busy schedule she still listens, explains everything and very polite. To the big deal!!! my child has massively improved in her developmental skills and she always look forward to school days and I'm so happy about this. I must not forget to say a big thank you to the staffs taking care of my child you are all amazing.
Read on GoogleI can not recommend this nursery enough!! I visited numerous nurseries in and out of Leicester but none of them gave me the feeling I got from High Hopes 🥰 a home away from home. My daughter really struggled with separation anxiety and the nursery were fantastic in tackling this.... so lovely, patient and caring with the both of us. My daughter spends full days there and it's great to hear her talk about all the fun shes had and what shes learnt. The nursery app is wonderful, not only do I get updates on her day but also at the end of the week I get an observation update that allows me to read what the nursery has been up to for the week along with some photos of my child from the week, it really is wonderful🙏❤️ They truly care for every child and their development. Choosing this nursery was most definitely the best decision I made 🫶
