Barham Pre-School, established in 1994, provides a good-quality early years education for children aged 2 to 4 years old. Open during term-time, Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm, the pre-school fosters a safe and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore and have fun.
The dedicated staff greet children with enthusiasm, taking a genuine interest in them and their families, which helps children settle quickly to the exciting resources on offer. The curriculum is designed to be broad and engaging, with staff planning creative activities based on children's interests, such as learning about plants and growing by tending to their own bean plants and outdoor flowers.
This approach supports children's sense of self-worth and deepens their engagement with topics. Children also have opportunities for outdoor learning, enjoying turn-taking games and working collaboratively to build dens.

Barham Pre-School registered in 1994 and is situated in the grounds of Barham Primary School in Barham, Kent. It is open each weekday during term times only, on Monday to Friday, from 9am until 3pm. There are eight members of staff, six of whom hold appropriate early years qualifications at level 3 or above. The preschool receives early education funding for children aged two, three and four years.
