Parents are full of praise for the friendly staff team and comment on the good progress their children make, particularly in their self-confidence and communication skills.
Inclusion & environment
This helps to support all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), to make the best possible progress. There is strong support for children with SEND. Passionate staff work very closely with parents and other professionals to put targeted plans in place. For instance, they use basic sign language and visual prompts to build on children's confidence to communicate. Leaders use additional funding wisely, which is tailored to children's individual needs. This helps children with SEND make good progress from their starting points.
Older children use their imaginations as they create concoctions in the mud kitchen, mixing together mud, water and fruits.
A lovely place with truly caring people. My daughter loves going there and I can see she is looked after. I feel very lucky To have found them.
Read on GoogleFive stars are not enough for this nursery! We are so happy with this setting, the manager is outstanding and the staff amazing. They pay attention to detail for each child and their needs. They also have an amazing garden, very well equipped and up-to-date indoors toys and equipment. My son is so happy there. I couldn't recommend it enough
Read on GoogleI have three children who all attended Joyland and / or Strawberry Hill Nursery. (We had to swap about a bit as our circumstances changed.) The care and education they received was fantastic. In particular we liked the attention to detail in the environments, with interesting and varied activities set up (both indoors and outdoors) every day. We also had complete confidence in Lisa and her staff team. Lisa is a very experienced and very effective early years practitioner and manager. The needs of the children in her care are at the forefront of everything she does. We feel that our children were privileged to have had such a high quality, and happy, early years experience. Thank-you!
