How they support every child

SEND provision

Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities is carefully considered. Staff work closely with parents and professionals to help ensure that children receive continuous support and guidance. All children make good progress from their starting points.

Outdoor space

Staff support children in the outdoor area to help build their self-confidence as they have fun learning to navigate push along cars. Older children use their gross motor skills to transport equipment around the garden. Staff demonstrate that they prioritise children's well-being, for example, by checking that children are dressed in suitably warm outdoor clothing for outdoor play.

Having visited many nursery’s & settings I was so impressed with Beenham Catapillars. Every single member of staff was utterly delightful & so engaging with my daughter. The senior members of staff were so informative & honestly made me feel like no question was stupid. My daughter is due to start in January & I can honestly say im happy & feel so comfortable with leaving my baby with the excellent staff at Caterpillars. Overall the new set up & surroundings at caterpillars is perfect, with a lovely edition of a totally separate dark room with allocated cots. 10/10 nursery! Xxxx
