Safeguarding children is paramount, with detailed policies readily available to parents and carers.
What it's like
Leaders acknowledge that there are areas of the playgroup that need improvement. They have implemented change to meet actions from the last inspection and redesigned their curriculum. Weaknesses in support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), and staff's delivery of the curriculum consistently, impact the progress children make overall. Overall, children are independent, confident and happy to come into the friendly playgroup.

Inclusion & environment
Weaknesses in support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) impact the progress children make overall. Leaders work with parents and some external agencies to support children with SEND. Despite some improvements in this area, leaders recognise that there are some inconsistencies and that improvements are still needed to fully support children with SEND.
All children develop their physical skills well. They have ample opportunities to be active and enjoy playing and learning outdoors.
Great friendly atmosphere. Both my children have had a great time at Begbroke playgroup.
