About this day nursery
Blackbirds Fun for Kids, established over two decades ago in 1997, offers a range of childcare services in the Felpham area of West Sussex. Originally started as a single playgroup for 24 children with a small team of four, it has since grown into a reputable childcare provider with approximately 12 staff members.
The nursery is committed to continuous development, ensuring staff hold essential qualifications and receive regular, enhanced specialist training. They operate a playgroup for children aged 2 to 4 years during term time.
For older children, aged 4 to 11 years, Blackbirds provides an After School Club and an Earlybirds breakfast club for those attending Downview School on school days. Additionally, a holiday club is available for all school holidays (excluding Bank Holidays) for children aged 4 and above.
The main nursery is located at Downview Primary School in Felpham.
