Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The curriculum is ambitious for all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Children who need early intervention are identified promptly, and a plan is devised to support their needs. However, at times, staff do not seek parents' consent fast enough to involve external professional agencies, which means some children wait longer for a referral to a specialist.

Outdoor space

Children count while hopping in the garden and have a wide range of opportunities to investigate and be active outdoors. For example, staff created a 'minibeast hotel' for children to study insects' habitats.

My daughter has been attending Blossoms since September 2024. She began in the baby room with Aleyna and Kerrianne when she was just 7 months old. Both women ensured that she was well cared for and I could leave with ease knowing my daughter was going to receive excellent care. Aleyna and Kerrianne are very kind, compassionate and thoughtful. Just what you need when you leave a young child. The team follow the EYFS Framework and offer a range of experiences to the children. The setting is similar to a home environment which isn’t overly stimulating or overwhelming. My daughter is now nearly two and she has transitioned into the toddler room. She is with key workers Gemma and Emily who are very warm, approachable and nurturing. She will happily run into nursery and thoroughly enjoys her time there. The nursery are excellent with their communication and will always message or call my husband and I if there are any problems. The staff will alway talk to me at the end of the day about my daughter’s day which I really appreciate. We highly recommend this nursery and the change in leadership has enabled this nursery to continue to “blossom’.

My son started at the nursery in September 2025 and the progress he has made since then has been incredible. From his first day, he was made to feel welcomed and safe. The staff (room leaders, key workers, support staff and management) work incredibly hard to build genuine meaningful relationships with the children and their families. You’ll regularly find management in the children's rooms interacting, teaching, playing and getting to know the children. They always take the time to share updates, celebrate achievements and talk through our child's day. We’ve seen huge improvements in our child’s communication, independence and curiosity and that is down to the amazing staff at blossoms. Blossoms have exceeded any expectations of a nursery I had.

We had a wonderful experience with Blossoms Day Nursery – Baby Room. My daughter settled in perfectly, thanks especially to Aleyna, who showed such a high level of care, attention, and communication. From the very beginning, it was clear she was in safe and nurturing hands. The settling-in sessions were absolutely lovely and really helped my daughter feel comfortable and confident. Amanda, the manager, is so welcoming, kind, and incredibly helpful — she truly makes you feel at ease as a parent. Both Aleyna and Kerri Anne are fantastic, and my daughter has formed an amazing bond with the staff. She has truly thrived here — she’s now speaking, singing, and building great relationships with other children in the setting. I couldn’t be happier with the care my daughter received and would highly recommend Blossoms to any parent looking for a warm, supportive, and nurturing nursery environment.

My son is currently in the baby room at this nursery, and I must say that the staff are outstanding. The activities they put on seem fun and engaging and my son always smiles when he sees the staff. I’m always kept informed of how he’s getting on in terms of his development and also what he’s doing on a day-to-day basis when he’s at nursery via the parent app which is provided. In terms of management, they always keep us informed of development’s at the nursery and what they’re planning to do with the children each term that they are there. Management have been really helpful with our requests around funding and have been flexible around our changing work commitments. I would highly recommend this nursery!
