Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/ or disabilities (SEND) are well supported. They form close bonds with their key person and leaders ensure they receive the appropriate support from outside agencies. As a result, children with SEND make good progress.

Outdoor space

Staff give children many opportunities to develop their physical skills. For example, they place furniture purposefully for babies to have places to pull themselves up to standing and to cruise around. Staff support younger children to use the pedals on the tricycles and older children negotiate space well as they ride bicycles. This helps them build their large-muscle strength.

My son came here from the age of 11 months. The settling process was remarkably smooth, and although he wasn't best pleased at first, he quickly settled in within days. I had the constant reassurance of the staff in the room. As his time went on throughout Blossoms, I felt the service was constantly improving. If I ever had any concerns, they were always addressed promptly. Blossoms holds a yearly festive event, which is fantastic! Parents can come in and enjoy the time with the children, get to know the staff and see all the rooms that the children are in. Blossoms offers great communication skills and always ensures that you feel heard as a parent. Blossoms have always been so welcoming to us, and we will absolutely send our second child to this nursery. In fact, it is the ONLY nursery I would consider. It is a great comfort to send your child somewhere you know they will truly be cared for and have their needs met! A true home from home environment!

Went to view the nursery and not impressed. Told the manger my child eats well and she said that's usually the first thing that changes they stop eating as well as it's the only thing they can control. I have had two other kids in nursery that didn't do that. My child is going to another nursery now and he is eating fine as I expected. Also said they have their own nap schedule and would do it their way instead of following our home routine. She came across cold and unwelcoming not considerate. Also nursery felt quite overcrowded as the lay out feels quite narrow with small rooms and not very open spaces.

I was sooo nervous about sending my son to nursery before returning to work. However I had heard several positive reviews about Blossoms nursery and after visiting the nursery myself decided it was perfect for my little angel. The staff in the nursery room are friendly and caring, you just know your child is in safe hands. Management is great! During my weekly drop-offs and pick-ups Mrs M and all the staff including the cook always put me at ease as I was one of those anxious mums who would need constant reassurance that my son was happy. I would definitely recommend the nursery as my son picked up soo much during his time there. Thank you Blossoms.
