Bloxham Pre-School is an independently run registered charity operating out of the Early Years Partnership Foundation Stage Unit at Bloxham Primary School. The preschool is dedicated to providing a nurturing, stimulating, and secure environment where every child feels valued, relaxed, and happy.

Their approach focuses on fostering independence and a love for learning, preparing children not just for primary school but for life itself. The small, dedicated team of Early Years Educators builds strong relationships with children and families to ensure tailored care and support for each child’s development.

The preschool was rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with an 'Outstanding' for children's attitude and behaviour. The pre-school is governed by volunteer Charity Trustees, typically parents or community members, who ensure all profits are reinvested into the school's continuous improvement.

They operate within a structured constitution, with Trustees handling finances, safeguarding, staff employment, and policy reviews. Each child is also assigned a 'Key Person' to ensure their care and learning are personalised and to facilitate strong communication between the preschool and parents about their child's progress.

Our role is to provide a stimulating, happy, healthy, caring, and safe environment where all our children can feel relaxed, secure and valued.

What it's like

Staff greet children warmly as they arrive, full of enthusiasm for the day ahead and immediately engage them with inviting learning experiences. Staff immerse children in a language-rich environment where they hear and absorb ambitious vocabulary and skilfully weave mathematics into children's play. Children show a strong awareness of routine and behave exceptionally well, forging excellent relationships with staff and each other.
