Bloxham Pre-School is an independently run registered charity operating out of the Early Years Partnership Foundation Stage Unit at Bloxham Primary School. The preschool is dedicated to providing a nurturing, stimulating, and secure environment where every child feels valued, relaxed, and happy.
Their approach focuses on fostering independence and a love for learning, preparing children not just for primary school but for life itself. The small, dedicated team of Early Years Educators builds strong relationships with children and families to ensure tailored care and support for each child’s development.
The preschool was rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with an 'Outstanding' for children's attitude and behaviour. The pre-school is governed by volunteer Charity Trustees, typically parents or community members, who ensure all profits are reinvested into the school's continuous improvement.
They operate within a structured constitution, with Trustees handling finances, safeguarding, staff employment, and policy reviews. Each child is also assigned a 'Key Person' to ensure their care and learning are personalised and to facilitate strong communication between the preschool and parents about their child's progress.

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
"Parents say their children are happy and settled, and they feel incredibly supported as a family."
Inclusion & environment
Children with special education needs and/or disabilities are supported well by staff. Any gaps in children's development are identified quickly. Staff work closely with parents and other professionals to plan and support children's needs and ensure that all activities are inclusive.
During outdoor play, staff provide children with varied opportunities to be physically active. For example, children are keen to complete their morning activity of running around the track, and they delight in the opportunity in the afternoon to play hide and seek with staff and their friends.
