Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported extremely well. Managers work closely with parents and external professionals to ensure children swiftly receive the additional help they need. Individual plans are put in place and shared with staff to help children work towards achievable targets and make progress. Additional funding is used effectively to support children's individual needs, such as through the purchase of specific resources and additional one-to-one support.
Children have many opportunities to build on their physical development through play with a variety of resources outside, such as a slide, trikes and climbing apparatus, to support them in strengthening their large muscles. From a young age, children are encouraged to take off and put on their own shoes and coats to play outside.
My son did so well at this nursery and my second child is there at the moment. I have recommended this nursery to my friends and family. The manager is well knowledgeable especially in SEN. She offered me great help and I was able to get early help needed for my son. I am greatly confident that the nursery will tell the truth when it comes to getting the help any child needs for their development ✨️ Well done Bluebird team and thank you Hannah.
Read on GoogleIts the end of the year and I am giving my end of year review for 2025. My daughter started attending bluebird nursery last quarter of 2024 and after a 1yr+ I have nothing but high praise for the management and staff of Bluebird nursery. What stands out for me is the caring nature of the staff to kids and when they are been dropped off they welcome every child by their names (that's a lot of children to remember). It seems to me that management are intentional in their recruitment process to pick people who really love children. There is an app where I can see pictures of my child's daily activities and schedule and we have quarterly assessments for my daughter's progress with key person at a time convenient for me. My daughter is EXTREMELY picky eater and management found a workaround and still finding additional ways to help her. When you are looking for a nursery you want a place where you child will be taken care off and can develop skills needed to ease transition into preschool/school and I will say this nursery does that. Without second thoughts, when I have more children they will all go to Bluebird nursery. Initial start of nursery, my daughter will cry when I dropped her off but this year even after the long summer break, when I dropped her off she pushes the nursery door open and she is off. It shows she really enjoys her time there. Great atmosphere, great nursery , great staff. From Pika and Nicole who was my daughter key persons last year to Beckie, Sameera and Nahida. All the staff there from Nikita, Valerika, Nasiri (these are the few I have dealt with). Will I recommend this nursery?? Yes, without a shadow of doubt. Merry Christmas to you all. Congrats for 2025 to Hannah and Renix, your mission statement is to provide high quality childcare and you are doing just that, you should be proud of what you both have achieved. Higher heights for 2026.
Read on GoogleIf only I could give 0 stars. I am writing this review because of the distress I have experienced at this setting. I found the manager, Hannah, to be rude and abrupt, demonstrating a lack of professionalism in her interactions. I believe she could benefit from training in areas such as conflict resolution and communication skills. She has spoken to me both directly and indirectly in a discourteous manner. I have reported my concerns to both the local authorities and Ofsted. I would advise parents to carefully review Ofsted ratings and reports when considering this setting, and to compare “good” ratings with “outstanding” ratings. Do not send your child here if you notice a red flag instantly. First impressions count, Hannah.
Read on GoogleMy husband called there several times but they only said they will call back. But never called back.Too much poor service😡
Read on GoogleThank you so much for looking after, caring, teaching and guiding B. He has really enjoyed his time here. It is so amazing to see him grow and that’s down to all you guys. I can’t thank you all enough for the love and dedication you’ve shown my son. B has grown so much over the last 18 months. Hes confidence is through the roof, he is more inquisitive, open minded and only ever so slightly more crazy. I really don’t know how I will ever thank you all for all the love and care you have shown B over the last 2 years. You are all truly amazing and exceptional people and will be forever in our hearts.
