Bognor House Day Nursery, established in Clevedon since 1963, provides childcare for children aged 18 months up to pre-school, operating five days a week. The nursery is situated in a Victorian house, aiming to create a warm, homely, and caring atmosphere for all families.
With a dedicated and professional team, Bognor House focuses on supporting each child's personal development, preparing them for future educational stages. The daily routine is structured yet flexible, adapting to children's needs and offering both free-flow and adult-led activities, including local outings to the beach, woods, and pier, as well as a yearly trip to Noah's Arch.
The nursery adheres to the Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, enhanced by its unique "7 Bognor House Pets" approach, where each pet represents a different area of learning such as Connections, Culture, Communication, Care, Creativity, Curiosity, and Critical Thinking. This method encourages children to engage with various aspects of their development in a fun and associative way, promoting confidence, social interaction, and a love for learning.
The nursery highly values parental involvement, aiming to work collaboratively with families to support their children's growth and well-being.
