Springboard Opportunity Group- Clevedon, established in 1986, is an outstanding pre-school specifically tailored for children aged 2 to 4 years old with special educational needs and/or disabilities. 30pm, with stay and play sessions on Wednesday mornings and playschemes during Easter and summer holidays.

The setting provides a safe and secure environment where children thrive due to the highly motivated, caring, and nurturing staff team. The curriculum is stimulating and individualised, ensuring all children have equal learning opportunities.

Staff expertly weave all areas of learning into children's play, fostering curiosity and building on their existing abilities. The team focuses on promoting communication skills, using various methods like the Picture Exchange Communication System, Makaton, words, and gestures.

Leaders have recently introduced a new communication system recommended by speech and language therapists. The nursery maintains exceptional partnerships with parents, offering support with all aspects of their children's care, including assistance with funding applications and regular coffee mornings and training sessions.

The overall effectiveness of Springboard Opportunity Group- Clevedon was judged as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in March 2022.

Children thrive in an environment that is tailored to meet their specific learning needs. My Son who is Autistic have been to a few stay and plays at springboard and i can honestly say its one of the nicest and supportive environments we have been to. Charlotte and he team are incredibly caring and created such a special place and I really cant recommend them enough .
