Our Montessori ethos is that we give every child, ‘Time, Respect and Trust’. In a Montessori nursery school, children are treated respectfully as unique individuals. Their social and emotional development is essential to their education. Emphasis is not on what is to be learnt but how. Children are naturally interested in the world around them, they choose what to learn and at Dove Tree we help them to find the best way of learning. Our trained teachers guide them in using their own abilities and with specially designed Montessori materials.

What it's like

Children enter the nursery ready to play and learn, feeling safe and happy with familiar adults. They engage in interesting outdoor activities, exploring nature and developing an understanding of the world around them. Children make good progress in their learning.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured around funded and non-funded sessions, with fully funded 10-hour days offered on Mondays and Fridays. A daily consumable fee applies to funded hours to cover meals and hygiene items, though parents can opt out. Parents must supply their own nappies, nappy cream, and formula.
