Areas to develop

  • 1The provider should provide consistent opportunities for children to listen attentively and respond with comprehension to familiar stories, rhymes, and songs.
  • 2The provider should support staff to implement consistent routines that include more time for children to freely access resources of their choice alongside those that have been planned for them.
  • 3The provider should clarify how staff will more-effectively identify and encourage quieter children to engage in the quality experiences provided.

What parents say

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection

Parents feedback very positively and report that their children thoroughly enjoy attending.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Potential gaps in children's development are swiftly identified. Staff implement focused, personalised learning plans and make referrals for external support when needed. This ensures that children with special educational needs and/disabilities are supported to catch up with their peers.

Outdoor space

Children are continually supervised, especially when moving between different areas. Children aged under three are taught how to safely navigate the stairs under the direct supervision of staff. They further practise these skills as they learn how to navigate small steps on the indoor and outdoor slides. The inspectors observed the quality of education being provided indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.

I have had two children attend this nursery over the last 8 years and experienced nothing but excellent care for them. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. My 8 year old demanded to go back and thank staff for looking after them and she hasn't been there for 4 years.

This nursery is outstanding! Both my girls have attended bright beginnings and the staff there truly enrich your children's lives. The managers kerry and Sharon along with every single one of the girls who work there nikki Natalie chloe claire mandy just to name a few work so hard in ensuring your child has the best time. My girls have learnt so many new skills whilst attending and I always feel so pleased knowing they are in a safe happy environment.
